Tracy Layney brings more than 25 years of experience in HR and organizational strategy. Most recently, Tracy served as EVP and CHRO at Levi Strauss & Co. Previously, she was SVP and CHRO at Shutterfly and spent a decade at Gap Inc., including as SVP of HR for Old Navy. Tracy now teaches human capital strategy at the Chicago Booth School of Business and advises and consults to companies in organizational and human capital strategy. Tracy has been recognized as an innovative HR thought leader, serving on the SHRM Foundation board and being named Chief HR Officer of the Year by HRO Today in 2023. Tracy holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
