Bryan Power is the Head of People at Atomic Machines. He previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Yahoo and was most recently Nextdoor’s Head of People. Bryan has also held the top HR role at Square and spent eight years at Google. Bryan Power brings more than 20 years of human resources and talent acquisition experience. At Yahoo, he led the global People Team supporting more than 10,000 employees across 30 offices in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Prior to Yahoo, Bryan served in a similar role at Square, where he helped grow the company from 350 to 1,600 employees while building employee programs and HR infrastructure ahead of its successful public offering in November 2015. Earlier in his career, Bryan spent eight years at Google. He also serves as a board member of Avenica, a U.S. recruiting firm focused on placing recent college graduates into entry-level career-track roles, and advises several high-growth technology companies in San Francisco. Bryan is from Concord, Massachusetts, and lives in Oakland with his wife, Melisa, and his son, Vicente!
