Dr. Tanaya Devi is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Sigma Squared, an evidence-based policing platform. She co-founded the firm with Dr. Roland Fryer in 2021 in order to provide public and private sector clients with a more rigorous, actionable approach to evaluating bias, disparity, and efficiency across their organizations. Dr. Devi achieved her PhD in Economics from Harvard University. Her published research includes evaluations of the impact of pattern-or-practice investigations on crime and incentive structures in public education systems.
