As a seasoned HR executive, Mary-Jo Hewat is the SVP, Human Resources and Facilities at Sagen, Canada’s largest private mortgage insurance provider. Prior to joining Sagen, Mary-Jo held senior HR roles in one of Canada’s largest pension plans, as well as in mining, retail and professional services. She holds the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation, a master's in business administration (MBA) and is a Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE). She is the past Board Chair for Food Banks Canada and sat on the Advisory Council to the Toronto Metropolitan University’s Human Resource Management and Organizational Design Programs.
