"VICKIE SAXON retired from Senior Vice President of Enterprise Resources at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. She was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Facilities Operations, Quality and Risk Management and the Business Services Division. Vickie was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama for 37 years. She has over 27 years of experience in Human Resources overseeing 3500 employees. Vickie has served on many boards. Currently, she serves on the board for the Jacksonville State University Foundation in Jacksonville, Alabama. She has also served on the board of the National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, New York, Momentum of Birmingham Executive Leadership Program and Hoover Alabama’s Aldridge Gardens. Vickie graduated from Jacksonville State University with two degrees, a BS in Accounting and Management. Vickie is an alumnus of the Momentum Women’s Leadership Program. Vickie is the daughter of National Women’s Hall of Fame inductee and Fair Pay Activist Lilly Ledbetter, the namesake of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. “You and I have to continue fighting for equal pay for equal work.
