Jonathan Reyes (JR) is a Talent and HR Technology leader with over 20-years of experience growing Tech and Finance organisations across the US, Australia, UK and Latin America. He is currently the VP of HR and Talent Acquisition Operations at Databricks. He was previously the North America VP for Reejig and a talent advisor helping organisations and leaders to build a world with Zero Wasted Potential. Prior to his time at Reejig he was the Global Head of Talent and Mobility Operations at Uber based in the San Francisco Bay Area leading global Immigration and Mobility, Employer Branding, Coordination, Technology, Learning and Development, and Strategic Initiatives. In this role he helped Uber transform the talent experience through technology and by prioritising the experience of talent above all. JR joined Uber in 2017 as the Director of Recruitment for Latin America. During this time, LATAM was the fastest-growing region for Uber in the world with the #1 and #3 markets and grew it’s people 525%, not only was this true hyper growth, the region achieved gender parity during this phase, making it the first in all of Uber to do so. Before joining Uber, JR spent 3+ years at Commonwealth Bank leading Talent Acquisition for Engineering, Digital, Tech, Analytics, and Corporate Functions, as well as 7 years in a variety of roles at IBM leading Talent Acquisition for Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources from the University of Technology Sydney.
