For years, CHROs have fought to have a "seat at the table" but if a pandemic, war for talent, wars in Europe, and societal imbalances have taught us anything over the last four years it's that the table actually belongs to the CHRO. Boards have become more accustomed to engaging deeper in the organization, more widely with stakeholders, and more broadly around issues related to culture, talent, society, and well… human capital overall.
